Export Restrictions and COVID-19

چکیده

As a result of COVID-19, the export medical goods has been subject to various global restrictions. Consequently, several countries have increased supply alleviate effects this health crisis. This study entails theoretical and empirical analysis such remedial measures. To end, we utilized consistent conjectural variation in three-country model entailing firms competing two reciprocal markets Cournot. When restrictions are unilateral, number available exporting country tends increase, culminating better management pandemic. In contrast, bilateral typically reduce total output goods; therefore, they inappropriate pandemic situation.
